Gary is one of our lead strategists who will help grow your brand’s strength by turbo-charging the strategy or accelerating the team. He is a multiple award winning Marketing Communications expert with over 20 years experience in media agencies, media owners and as a client. His specialities are global marketing strategy and South & Central America, the region in which he represents the Digital Strategy Consulting group and Digital Training Academy.

Gary has worked on a variety of ground breaking campaigns including being in the launch team of Dove Campaign for Real Beauty, brands such as Lynx/Axe, Johnny Walker, and Smirnoff – in addition to a full range of categories from finance, Auto, Pharma, Banking, Travel, Fashion and many more.

Gary gained deep UK experience before moving to a Global Role heading the Communication Planning for Unilever´s Deodorant, and Haircare categories along with power brand Knorr. He was also a core team member of Unilever´s Global Marketing Academy helping to design and cascade processes and ways of working.

As desire to experience new cultures saw Gary move to Mexico, where we ran the Diageo´s Comms Planning for Latin America, and has a unique inside track into the agency capabilities and modus operandi in these markets. His track record is in delivering results, actively partnering leading Global brands and corporations to deliver business and brand success.

He is a creative, strategic communications with extensive experience creating global communication strategies that are effective in emerging and developed markets. In terms of disciplines, he’s most experienced in Analytics, Brand and Market Planning, Consumer Insight, Communication Strategy and Platform Development, Content, Training and of course Digital, through to “Hands On” management of Execution across all channels.

His deep media planning experience is based in integrated paid, owned and earned communication strategies across digital, data and mobile and he is skilled in building digital strategies across video, content, search and mobile

Gary uses analytics, data and an instinctive marketing understanding to create innovative ‘results- focused solutions’ which meet brands’ key metrics and generate a positive ROI across a broad range of categories proposals

In his spare time Gary loves to travel to discover the history and culture of different countries, and so it’s a real bonus to spend time with in market with clients. Gary about may one day return to the UK, but for now he is living the Latin dream although, being British, has yet to master the dancing.
