Digital marketing account manager (£26k+bonus, full time)

We are looking for an experienced digital marketing account manager to help develop and execute digital marketing strategies and world-class training for global brands.

You’ll oversee the day to day running on key accounts with clients such as Unilever or Lego and many more in a fast-paced and varied environment.

Typical activities include

Day to day running of accounts

  • Maintaining contact reports
  • Managing project plans
  • Managing delivery from internal stakeholders
  • Maintaining contact with multiple external stakeholders
  • Managing conference calls with international teams

Client communications

  • Writing and managing communication with clients
  • Organising training and meeting dates and schedules
  • Listening to clients’ needs and helping our team identify solutions
  • Delivering high quality feedback to clients after workshops
  • Developing a deep understanding of the clients’ business, market, products and audiences so you can add value to strategic conversations with clients and internal teams

Core skills

  • Experienced account management skills (ideally agency and client side experience)
  • Being a good team player
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Confident in their interpersonal skills both on the telephone and face-to-face
  • Excellent written communication skills
    • Able to write clear and logical messages for internal and external teams
    • Able to write clearly for people who have English as a second language
    • Excellent reading and researching skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of Office 2010 packages:
    • Outlook
    • Word
    • Power Point
    • Excel
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Self-starter with strong time management skills (i.e. ability to manage own workload)
  • Ability to spot problems, analyse cause and offer solutions
  • Flexible attitude – willing to help out as and when the situation calls for it
  • Strong interest in digital marketing and the developing digital world

Useful skills – not essential for this role

  • Knowledge of digital marketing or digital media
  • Experience in proofing
  • Advanced PowerPoint
  • Intermediate Excel skills (i.e. chart creation, basic formulas)
  • Having a good awareness of business needs
