Unilever’s Dollar Shave Club launches in the UK

Dollar Shave Club, the Unilever-owned men's grooming subscription service, has launched in the UK.

The US brand launched in the UK this month with a pop-up store that offers free shaves, live comedy and foosball.

Since being bought by Unilever for $1bn in 2016, Dollar Shave Club has used the FMGC giant’s scale in the US, Canada and Australia.

The brand has also been working with a select set of influencers to drive buzz around the offering, with a TV ad and investment in digital to follow.
