Android Police reports that the new set of info cards will extract details from Gmail inboxes.
Screenshots show that bills are displayed with the biller’s name, amount due, the date it’s due and a link to the email.
It’s claimed that a ‘Pay Now’ option linking to the biller’s payment website is available with some companies.
Google is currently rolling out the latest info card to devices, although it’s not clear whether it will be available in all regions.
Google will prompt users with its traditional question card on the top of the Google Now list and selecting yes to confirm will set up the alerts. Users can also stop the cards from appearing by changing the option under settings, which can be accessed by scrolling to the bottom and tapping the wand icon.
Earlier this year, Google also added an info card telling drivers where they parked their car.
Google also updated its Search app earlier this month with a new location-based shopping feature. The updated app remembers the searched items and alerts users with a Google Now card when available in nearby retail stores. The reminder card shows the product and its price to user along with a list of stores stocking the product. Google uses the device’s location data for specific results.
