German mobile ad revenues ‘grow 75.6%’

Mobile advertising in Germany is forecast to have grown 75.6% in the first half of 2013, compared the same time period last year, as companies switch their budgets to target the smartphone and tablet audience.


The findings come from the latest data from the Mobile Advertising Mobile Advertising Statistics Unit (MAC) of the Federal Association of the Digital Economy (BVDW) in cooperation with Nielsen Media Research.
In the first half of 2013, advertisers invested EU44.5m in Germany in mobile, a 75.6 growth compared to 2012, the report found.
For the full year, the report goes on to predict a market growth of at least 70% for the full year 2013, with gross sales of EU105m.
