Twitlio developer Jonathan Gottfried noticed this week yesterday that some tweets using Google Glass hashtag #ThroughGlass started to appear with the source being Twitter for Glass.
One from an account under the name @MogroothMuddler included a picture and the phrase “Just shared a photo”, which sounds automated.
That account has since been deleted, but @Mogrooth belongs to Shiv Ramamurthi, a mobile engineering manager atTwitter.
Gottfried managed to take a screen grab of the original tweet before the account vanished.
Industry analysts are expecting to see a lot of Glass apps popping up from companies like Twitter and Facebook in the next few months, as the companies are trying to figure out how best to tap into a device that could increase usage and let users share a brand new perspective with media.
