T-Mobile has expanded its free texts for life scheme to now include free internet access for up to 40MB of data a day.The move marks a further shift in the mobile market as operators move emphasis from calls and texts towards email and internet access. By topping up £10 each month, T-Mobile customers will be able to use their credit solely for making calls.

The reward scheme is open to anyone connecting a free T-Mobile Pay As You Go SIM card or purchasing a prepay handset from a T-Mobile store or online at www.t-mobile.co.uk/freesim.
Any customer who signed up for the unlimited free texts for life reward will now in addition automatically receive free internet access so long as they continue to top up by £10 every month.
Other T-Mobile customers who want to join the scheme must sign up by 31 January 2010.
This offer coincides with the launch of the Google Android prepay handset T-Mobile Pulse.
