Windows 10 now has 5.21% market share, while Edge claims 2.03% of the PC browser market share, according to new data.

The data, from NetMarketshare, indicates that the new operating system is gaining traction on Microsoft’s older versions- with Windows 7 still the most popular sytem.
Microsoft is offering Windows 10 as a free upgrade to existing Windows 7/8.1 users. Windows 7 is still at the top with 57.67% market share, followed by Windows XP with 12.14% market share.
Microsoft’s new browser for Windows 10, Microsoft Edge claimed 2.03% of the PC browser market share, according to Net Applications.
Internet Explorer 11 has the most market share with 26.90% market share, followed by Chrome (17.63%) and Internet Explorer 8 (10.92%).
