YouTube is reportedly talking to Hollywood studios about renting new-release movies online. Citing people close to the talks, The Wall Street Journal reports that discussions were most advanced with Lions Gate Entertainment, Sony Corporation’s movie studio, Time Warner’s Warner Bros and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer.
