Making the announcement in a blog post, Google said the tool was developed as HTML 5 ads are expected to overtake Flash ads within the next two years, and there currently isn’t a common tool that advertisers can use, especially those without the technical background to create types of ads.
The Google Web Designer is available for both Mac and Windows and comes with default layouts for both DoubleClick rich media ads and AdMob mobile ads.
Google Web Designer can be used strictly visual lead to create an ad, although more advanced users can also use and edit CSS and JavaScript.
